Challenge Program Furniture builds handcrafted furniture in Wilmington, Delaware, while providing paid training and employment opportunities for young adults facing barriers to employment. Its work includes dining tables, coffee tables, desks, credenzas, benches, console tables and custom residential pieces made with domestic hardwoods.

For interior designers and architects, the workshop offers furniture and built-ins suited to project-specific dimensions and material preferences. Residential work includes slab dining tables, storage pieces and built-in seating, with locally sourced and reclaimed wood used when possible. Furniture sales support its parent nonprofit, the Challenge Program, connecting residential furnishing purchases with workforce development.
